Education Discount Program

Map Town offers discounts on selected items for schools and libraries. This offer is open to Canadian and USA elementary, junior and senior high schools. Canadian and US libraries, universities and colleges are also included in the program. The items ordered must be for school or library use only. The discount is not available for personal use.

Canadian schools, universities and colleges, and libraries will receive a discount up to 20% off selected products. United States schools, universities and colleges, and libraries will receive a discount up to 10% off selected products. Please see the list below for available products on this program.

Eligible Products:

	World Wall Maps: Map Town carries a large selection of world wall maps. We carry political and phyisical world maps in antique or blue ocean style. The maps are available in paper format or laminated. These are perfect for classrooms.
	Regional Wall Maps: Explore your world and universe. Map Town offers regional wall maps of continents, countries and even the universe. We also carry some thematic maps such as North American Dinosaurs.
	Globes: Globes are the perfect addition to any library, learing program or to offer as student incentives or graduation gifts. Map Town carries floor, desktop, inflatable and specialty globes. Please note, additional shipping charges may apply and will be quoted when an order is placed.
	Canadian Topographic Maps: A topographic map is a graphic representation of cultural and natural features on the ground (culture, water, relief, vegetation, and toponymy). Topo maps are used for a variety of applications, from camping, canoeing, fishing and hiking to urban planning, resource development and surveying. Canada topographic maps are available in paper format or can be laminated for an additional charge.
	Etopo Digital Maps: Etopo Digital Maps are Canadian Topographic maps in digital format. Each package comes with a demo version of Memory Map. With these digital maps you can see distances, get compass bearings, view elevation profile and display any map over a 3D Terrain model.
	Atlases: Map Town features atlases by the following respected map makers such as Oxford University Press, Rand McNally, Times Book Company, Readers Digest and National Geographic.

	Travel and Road Maps: Map Town carries thousands of different travel and road maps. Everything from a street map of Katmandu, to topographic maps of Antarctic Islands, to hiking maps of the Canadian Rockies. Popular publishers: Michelin Maps and Freytag and Berndt.
	Travel Guides and Books: Map Town carries a wide range of publishers from Michelin to Lonely Planet. Learn about unusual regions of the world or explore your own backyard.
	National Geographic Products: Founded in 1888, the National Geographic Society is one of the world's largest nonprofit scientific and educational organizations. Map Town carries a selection of products from CD-ROM's, travel maps to world wall maps and regional wall maps.
	Accessories: Certain accessories, such as compasses, are part of the discount program. Map Town also carries markers, graphic tape, flags and dots that you can used to mark areas on maps and charts. Important Ordering Information:

The discounts are only available for school, university/college, or library use.
This program is not intended for personal use. We request that students and school/library staff members do not use this discount program to purchase items for personal use.
The items will only be shipped to the physical address of the school, university, or library.
A copy of the school/library letterhead may be requested. The letterhead must have the address of the school/library listed. This address must match the shipping address provided.
A purchase order number or request may be required.
The discount does not apply to:

- Certain special order items
Orders may be placed online. Please indicate that you would like the school discount in the comments field of the order form. We will email you when the quoted discount prices prior to processing the order.

Canadian schools, universities/colleges, and libraries will receive a discount up to 20% off the retail price of selected products.
US schools, universities/colleges, and libraries will receive a discount up to 10% off the retail price of selected products.
This discount is not available for overseas schools or libraries.
Discounts will be taken off the retail price when the order is processed. The discounted price will not appear during online check-out.
If you are a Canadian institution and are GST exempt, please include the GST exempt number with your order.
Map Town does not charge taxes on US orders. US customers are responsible for all taxes, duties or brokerage fees charged by the US Government or shipping companies.

Accepted forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, money orders or wire transfers.
Full payment must be received before an order will be shipped. We do not accept C.O.D. or purchase orders as payment.
